Mister Daniel 'Timber' Van Beek smashes an onion at the Bangor Harvest Festival, September, 2011. The House of David has been using the 'Sweet-Spanish onion hurl for several years to the delight of our opponents and the cranks. It serves to lighten up the match and also saves valuable time with dicing up an onion for the salad after the game. The time is much better spent in gathering up the shards of onion with a coordinated team effort, then ready to wash and add real zip to the 'tossed' salad.
